My name Aaron Nibe. I am from Lofa Liberia. I came down with pressure in 2022. It all started one day, when I was sitting down, and head started hurting. I went to the hospital and the doctor stated that I take a nap, when I woke up from that nap, I couldn’t walk. My relationship doesn’t have time for me again, when I got sick, she left me for another man, and we’ve been together since 1992 to 2020. Since she abandoned me, I’m living for myself now. Friends had been helping me and giving me food to eat. I have two children who are still young to help me. Sometimes, I asked my neighbor’s to please help me with water to take shower and sometimes I pay people to do it for me. If I don’t have water, I don’t take bath, I don’t drink. When I ask people for money to buy food, and they don’t give it, I don’t eat, and sometimes I pray to God to give me food, God give me food when someone offer me food free. I also pray to God those who couldn’t help me, because I know if they had it, they will give it.
At this moment, I’m not taking any treatments for my Pressure because the doctors said that the treatment is in Guinea, and I don’t have the money for the treatment. I don’t have any money; I feel like I may die. Apart from my wife, I only have my friends and brothers who can help me sometime, and looking at my situation, they can’t take full responsibility for my weight, they can only do what they can do. I really want the government to help me. I’ve asked many people to help me, and they will say they will come back, and they don’t come back. As for my wife, I will not take her back, if someone can wish for you to die, I don’t think she can help me. If she can leave me in this kind of condition, I don’t think I can trust her anymore. If the people around me cannot help me, then I’m prepared to die.
