My name is Yamah Ballah. I’m from Voinjama Liberia. Life is not easy for me; Since my husband died in 2017 I don’t have anybody to help me with my children, I have to do a contract before we eat. The cause of his death was due to stomach sickness. His stomach started swelling up, we took him to the hospital, they could not discover the cause of his illness. On our way home from the hospital, died. He left me with three children, and because of my financial struggles, I’ve not been able to put them in school. Last year I had to fight hard to put them in school.
Right now, only two are in school, the other one is at school. I’m still owing the school their balance. I have to do contracts to take care of myself and my family. I don’t have a relationship at this moment, men that come my path, don’t want to be with me because they said I have children, so I just decided to sit down and take care of my children. I get my management phone with me.

I will try to talk to the school principal, and hope he agrees for my children to stay in the school until I have a contract to pay for their school fees, if he doesn’t accept it, they will go to school next year. I really miss my husband, sometimes when I think about him, it made me cry. I feel so bad about his death.
